Tensioned Vertical Drop Blinds

This blind is a heavy duty, hand controlled vertical drop blind. When locked down can be cranked up against the lockdowns, allowing the fabric to be tensioned. There are no components to rust, so the Vertical Drop Blind is ideal near beach areas where wind and rust are a problem.

 

The tensioned vertical drop blind is the most versatile product; with so many options and accessories. Choose between the two bottom rails; the standard 38mm galvanized steel bottom rail in a fabric pocket or upgrade to the premium teardrop that is designed to become a feature of the blind rather than to be hidden.

 

 Next, choose from the three different lockdowns options; either strap and buckles, stainless steel clips or the popular stainless steel wire guide. Another option, which completely encloses an outdoor living area, is to choose the heavy-duty 100mm side channels that incorporates the solid bottom rail and stainless steel slide locks.

 

 Hooding can be added to both protect the fabric and improve aesthetics; we have two options - either an automatic awning hooding or the new Flair vertical cassette. The automatic hooding is available in a range of Colorbond equivalent colours - White, Smooth Cream, Merino, Slate Grey, Heritage Red, Federation Green and Black. The new Flair Vertical Cassette is considered the premium and features both a sleek contemporary look and range of colours.

 

 The new vertical awning motor is another great addition to any TVD that you choose! The motor has a tension function that allows the motor to reverse against the lockdowns pulling the fabric taut and then safely stopping – this helps to improve the look of the fabric and prevents the awning from 'flapping' in the wind. Choose either the black or white stylish remote when you economically motorise!

 

Stainless steel wires can guide the vertical awning or it can even have a channel system to enclose your alfresco area – the choice is yours
